Joslyn Clarks line of series 146 Field loss relays provide excellent protection against overspeeding on DC shunt or compound wound motors. The relay coil is connected in series with the shunt field while the re‑lay motor contacts are in the motor control circuit. The series 146 relay is a UL recognized component. The coils are designed to carry maximum field current continuously. Drop out is approximately 62% of the pick‑up value.
