Surge Suppression and Power Conditioning for Critical Load Protection |
AEGIS Powerline Filters
Protect Against the Full Spectrum of Transient Disturbances
Designed to protect expensive electronics from hazards within a facility, this critical
load protection is effective at reducing harmful surges and noise. The AEGIS protects
against all ringing and impulse disturbances. Applying this powerline filter at your
critical loads results in clean power entering electronics and a reduction in
soft errors, operational malfunction and damage to components. |
Prevent Downtime & Equipment Damage Due To Surges
Hardwired surge filter protects critical loads
Filters entire sine wave
Effective against frequently occurring low energy transients that cause microprocessor failure over time and occasional high energy transients that produce immediate damage. |

Reflected Wave Trap (RWT)
VFD Motor Protection Against Reflected Wave Spikes |
|
Install this device at the motor terminals to eliminate system overvoltage
transients. The patented RWT is ideal for drive-motor systems operating at carrier
frequencies ranging from 2 kHz to 12 kHz on 208 to 480 volt systems.
Operators, engineers and systems integrators report increased motor control failures due
to insulation failure caused by reflected wave transients. Also known as dV/dT, this
phenomenon occurs with long cable lengths between the IGBT (and BJT) drives and motors.
Todays high speed drives, the power cable and AC motor impedances are not matched.
This causes significantly higher voltage spikes at the motor terminals. Variable frequency
drives improve the efficiency and operational control.
