MULTIMETER with INFRARED THERMOMETER |
FEATURES & BENEFITS More than a multimeter, Extech's 470 model has many useful and unique features. An important innovation is the inclusion of InfraRed temperature measurement for diagnosis and troubleshooting on the job with safe and fast readings.
STANDARD ITEMS
InfraRed Advantages InfraRed measurements allow technicians to take a series of readings quickly and conveniently by pointing the meter toward the area. Check surface temperatures of objects out of reach or that are too hot or too cold to touch. The laser helps target the area and improves accuracy. True RMS Advantages Loads with solid-state controls like those used for motor drives or heating systems can distort the waveform. Average responding meters can read up to 40% less than a True RMS responding meter. For accurate voltage and current measurements on waveforms with non-linear distortion, True RMS is invaluable.
