This entry-level position reports to the Sales Manager. Responsibilities include working with web initiated sales requests, assist other sales agents with quote preparation, distribution of faxes. Speaking with customers for the purpose of selling and updating order status. Other administrative duties as may be required. Success in this position may provide an opportunity for full time Customer Service or Account Rep positions.

Description

Responsible for repair of industrial electronic equipment at customer's location, including motor speed controls, programmable logic controls, CNC systems, miscellaneous printed circuit boards. Position is full-time and pay is commensurate with experience.

Required Education and Experience

Candidate must show strong experience with electronic repair, including AC/DC/Servo/Axis drives; various feedback packages (linear scales, rotary encoder, resolvers, DC/AC tachometer, mag-pulse); understanding of drive coordination in the system; and basic mechanical concepts (gear ratio, pulley systems, coupling systems, ball screws, and shaft alignment). Experience with Fanuc Controls is required.

HTML Programmer is needed to develop e-commerce web applications, and to perform general programming duties.

Required Education and Experience

2+ years HTML experience and 2+ years general programming experience required. Knowledge of Java script, relational database experience, and business process experience are a MUST. Knowledge of Progress RDMS and 4GL is a plus.

Candidate will be responsible for controls systems design, specification, programming, testing, and start-up/trouble-shooting assistance. This is a 'hands on' position. Candidate will actively participate in the assembly, wiring, cabling of multiple capital equipment projects.

Panel design & layout, bill of materials, and wiring schematic capabilities are expected. Candidate must have experience creating and modifying drawings. Must show proven track record in engineering leadership; the ability to develop and implement standard engineering practices; must provide detailed documentation upon project completion. This person will be the project technical lead, and will be responsible for some project management activities. This position may require some travel time.

Position is Full-Time, with full benefits package. Pay rate is negotiable, and is commensurate with experience.

Required Education and Experience

10+ years work experience in machine tool industry is required. Must have proven experience in PLC logic and application experience with Fanuc CNC. HMI programming and configuration is a plus. A BSEE or BSEET is desired. Experience in Automotive or Machine Tool Builder industries is a plus.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, repair and testing of industrial electronic equipment at the component level (AC & DC variable speed drives, PLCs, process controllers, and power supplies).

Required Education and Experience

Associates degree in electronics or commensurate experience is preferred. Candidate must demonstrate technical aptitude and working knowledge of various test equipment. Candidate must be proficient at reading schematics and solder rework (hands-on test will be administered). Intermittent heavy lifting required. Experience with GE/Fanuc motion control systems a plus. Position is full-time and pay is commensurate with experience.

Description

Responsible for all aspects of warehousing, including picking of orders, shipping/receiving, inventory control, over-the-counter sales, and delivery of product to alternate company location and to customers. Some hands-on value-added duties will be required (assembly, labeling, altering of product).

Required Education and Experience

Electronics background preferred (theory and component knowledge), however, electronics is not a requirement. Counter sales experience preferred. Should be mechanically inclined, and familiar with hand and power tools as well as basic electric / electronic testing equipment. A valid driver's license with a good driving record is preferred. Must be able to lift 50 pounds overhead, unassisted. Must be computer literate and must possess good communications skills. Must be extremely detail-oriented and able to work in a very fast-paced environment. Position is part-time (25 hours per week), must be available until 7:00 p.m.

The Programmer/Application Developer will be responsible for planning, analyzing, designing, developing, unit testing, debugging, documenting, and maintaining a character based ERP system. Adheres to software development life-cycle (SDLC) architecture standards, risk management, and security best practices. He/she will be expected to:

• Understand/apply reusable code design, leverage application architecture/framework capabilities and functionality, and design/develop solutions that are highly reliable, scalable, secure, and perform efficiently to meet business-defined requirements.
• Work with diverse stakeholders to provide enhancement and help shape the direction of the application based on a combined knowledge of what is technically feasible and what is desired by the end user.
• Contribute to the technical code and design documentation.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure quality solutions are built, tested and released.
• Provide production support and issue triage for Galco's ERP system.

Required Education and Experience

• 5+ years of experience in software development
• Thorough knowledge of database programming and RDBMS architectures.
• Formal educational background in a business-related discipline with a strong emphasis on accounting principles (BS or MBA preferred).
• Exceptional understanding of basic business processes (O/E, A/P, A/R, G/L, Inv, etc..) with extensive experience developing Accounting-related systems in an ERP environment.
• Real-time interface experience (UDP-TCP/IP socket programming)
• 3 years of experience with MQ Messaging
• 5+ years WebSpeed SpeedScript and embedded scripting
• 3+ years of experience in Web Services, SONIC MQ, Web Services and web client technology
• 5+ years of experience with UNIX, Linux preferred
• 3+ years of shell scripting is preferred
• Demonstrable experience to technically design and architect enterprise class applications.
• Demonstrate a proactive approach to problem solving, taking ownership of issues and having the determination to follow things through.
