WASTERWATER PUMP DRIVE WITH BY-PASS SYSTEM
100 HP Variable Frequency ABB ACS607 Drive with By-Pass Contactor
OVERVIEW
If you have a pump system that cant afford down time, consider upgrading to our ABB
drive system with by-pass. Should your operator controls malfunction or you experience
drive problems, by using a selector switch you can keep your pump on line by diverting
power directly to the motor through the by-pass contactor system.
Controlling your pump motor is a state-of-the-art, digitally controlled ABB ACS607 Direct
Torque Control 100 HP drive mounted inside a NEMA 1 single-door enclosure. The by-pass
contactor is mounted inside the enclosure and is fused for protection. There is also an
overload between the contactor and your motor for added motor protection. The system comes
to you ready to run with the start/stop and speed regulation pot (via the drive CDP
interface panel), a by-pass selector switch and by-pass mode motor start/stop button
mounted on the door of the enclosure. At the top of the system is a main power disconnect
switch for added convenience. If you choose to use remote operator controls, there is a
terminal strip inside the enclosure for your interconnect wiring.
