Grips
Grips
Cable grips are mesh-styled sheaths that wrap tightly around a cable, gripping the cable to provide support.

Cable grips mount at the end of the cable, using a mesh weave design to grip the cable tightly. Loops at the end of the grip can help guide cable through hard-to-reach spaces. The grip can also mount onto a connector, which can tighten the grip and reduce tension on the cable. Finally, cable grips can assist with general support, helping route cables into desirable positions.

Cable grips are typically made of galvanized steel, aluminum, or nylon, using single- or double-weave designs to provide more than 66,000 pounds of assistive strength to a cable.
