Galco Industrial Electronics Receives ISO-9001:2000 Certification

MADISON HEIGHTS, MI - Galco Industrial Electronics, an innovative electronics distributor and repair service provider announces its successful registration to the ISO9001:2000 quality system standard. After an extensive audit, Perry Johnson Registrars awarded the registration certificate to Galco in February, 2003. This registration certificate applies to the 1001 Lincoln and the 26010 Pinehurst locations and encompasses product distribution, repair services and engineered systems. The ISO registration process provides Galco with a framework for quality operations including management responsibility, customer input and feedback, purchasing, planning, training as well as product servicing. Achieving this certification was a rigorous process and "serves as a reinforcement to Galco's continued commitment to provide high caliber products and services in a consistent manner," according to Michael Conwell, Galco's General Manager.

Understanding and accepting the ISO philosophy means Galco will undergo constant re-evaluation to help determine performance and assess areas for future improvements. Mr. Conwell noted that, "achieving this status is just the beginning, as we will strive to be a better company each year."
