Galco Industrial Electronics Is Certified to
Build Control Panels to UL 508A Standards

MADISON HEIGHTS, MI -- Galco Industrial Electronics is now certified by MET Laboratories to build control panels to UL 508A standards. This certification applies to control panel design and production. The UL listing provides an unbiased safety assurance to interested parties including the manufacturer, specifier, electrical inspector, and the consumer. Receiving this certification by MET Laboratories, a nationally recognized testing lab (NRTL), affirms Galco's dedication to safety.

Eric Hill, Engineering Manager for Galco, explains what the UL 508A certification represents to Galco and its customers. "The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requires that equipment in the work place is safe to operate. Due to its stringent safety requirements, listing a control panel to UL 508A reduces liability from injuries and increases the operational safety."
