Based in Germany, PILZ is a family-run company and a system supplier for automation safety devices. Known for safety relays, the PILZ PNOZmulti modular safety system expands their product offering.

According to Galco's Product Manager, Ken Kruzmanowski, "PILZ PNOZmulti is multifunctional, freely configurable and can be adapted for use in many areas of mechanical engineering. This modular safety system can monitor safety functions such as E-STOP, safety gates, light barriers, two-hand machine and many more. And it’s cost effective. Customers can control multiple standard control functions economically. Instead of wiring, the safety circuit can be generated on a PC using an intuitive configuration tool. They can place configuration information on a chip card and download it to the PNOZmulti base unit. An added benefit to Galco’s customers is the cost savings of having fewer products do multiple tasks."

One of the more convenient solutions is using the modular safety relay PNOZmulti to control, monitor and upgrade presses. Applications for this products are unlimited.
