LP4 Series Image
  • 9~28 VDC
  • 28 Tone Choices
  • 82~100 dB at 10 Feet
  • Panel or Wall Mount
  • PLC Compatible
Federal Signal introduces the Model LP4 low profile, electronic piezo sounder. The LP4 is a compact multi-tone sounder ideal for OEM and general alarm applications.
The low voltage LP4 provides the user with the choice of 28 different tones, switch selectable during installation. Each electrical connection has two terminals for looping in and out, eliminating the need for a separate terminal block and therefore, making installation easier. A second tone is available if a third wire is installed and connected to the second tone terminals.
The LP4 sounder operates on a voltage range of 9-28VDC without the need for adjustment. The dB output ranges from 82-100dBa at 10 feet (92-110dBa @ 1m) depending on the tone selected. The volume control provides for 20dBa of adjustment. Due to its low current consumption, the LP4 is PLC compatible.
The rugged ABS casing provides a high degree of strength and protection from the elements. The operating temperature range of -40°F to 176°F (-40°C to 80°C) allows for use in a wide range of environments. The shallow base provides for flush mount wiring, and features a unique twist assembly for easy installation. A deep base with knockouts is available as an option.

The Model UTM Universal Tone Module, with 32 tones, or the TM33 Custom Tone Module is plugged into a single SelecTone Speaker Amplifier for stand-alone use or into a SelecTone Command Unit for plantwide
signaling.
For plant-wide signaling, a Connector Kit is installed into each SelecTone Speaker Amplifier and wired to a central controller. SelecTone Command Units and CommCenterŽ Digital Message Centers broadcast tones, voice messages, melodies and live public address to an unlimited number of SelecTone Speaker Amplifiers.
Typical applications for SelecTone include emergency warning, plant evacuation, start and dismissal, public address, and process control signaling.
5530M Series Image
  • 110 dB at 10 Feet

  • 27 Tone Capability
  • NEMA Type 3R
  • UL; cUL; CE Approvals
The Edwards 5530M Adaptatone Millennium is a heavy-duty industrial, tone-selectable, signaling device capable of producing volume-controlled, high-decibel tones. It uses a microprocessor circuit to create 27 distinctive tones, selected by setting a dip switch within the unit. The Adaptatone Millenium can be activated from field wired, normally open contacts, or from a 24 VDC or 120 VAC external voltage source such as an output of a PLC. PLC compatibility assures no additional loading resistors or relays are required to set up your Adaptatone.
Designed for industrial applications requiring high decibel output and microprocessor reliability. Typical applications include emergency warning systems, plant evacuation and security intrusion alarms, process monitoring, shift start and dismissal horns, and paging signals.
1/2" (13mm) conduit or surface mounting.

  • Tamper-Proof Cover Screw
  • Plastic Tipped Stainless Steel Striker
  • Satin Aluminum Finish
The Edwards 338 & 339 are surface mount AC or DC single stroke chimes which can be pulsed up to 10 pulses/second. The chimes are high quality units with underdome construction intended for heavy-duty commercial and industrial use. The chimes require no lubrication.
The chimes come complete with an Adaptaplate® mounting plate. The Adaptaplate mounts on any plaster cover with mounting holes on 2 3/4" (70mm) centers, on any single gang opening, on any 3 1/4" (83mm), 3 1/2" (89mm), or 4" (102mm) octagon or square box. Also mounts directly on any wall surface. For flush mounting use Cat. No. 512-A grille and P-029522 back box.
For paging and scheduling applications requiring a pleasant note with middle range decibel rating. Ideal for offices and stores.

  • 24 VAC/VDC or 120 VAC/240 VAC
  • Built-in Gain Control
  • 88 dB at 10 Feet
  • Flush or Surface Mount
  • 3R Type Enclosure
Federal Signal's Model 50GC SelecTone® Speaker Amplifier is designed to produce crisp, clear tones, digital voice messages and live public address.
In the Model 50GC a short, folded re-entrant horn is interposed between the diaphragm and surrounding air space. This design provides optimal dB output and very good frequency response.
The 50GC is UL Listed. It has been designed, tested and approved for use in Type 3R applications. When installed with the Model WB Weatherproof Backbox, the 50GC is suitable for use outdoors.
Internal gain control allows output adjustment from 64dBa to a maximum of 88dBa at 10 feet.
SelecTone Speaker Amplifiers are used individually or as part of a plant-wide emergency notification system. The Model UTM Universal Tone Module, with 32 tones, or the TM33 Custom Tone Module is plugged into a single SelecTone Speaker Amplifier for stand-alone use or into a SelecTone Command Unit for plantwide
