These dual scr modules come in industry standard packages offering three different circuits. The modules can be used individually or as power control building blocks. Their high thermal efficiency assures long life and reliable performance. Six different package sizes allow for a maximum output current of 570 amps for standard scr modules and 200 amps for fast switching versions. Blocking voltages are available as high as 3600 volts for standard scr's and 1300 volts for fast switching modules. Switching times are as low as 18 microseconds.

These dual diode modules come in industry standard packages offering three different circuits. The modules can be used individually or as power control building blocks. Their high thermal efficiency assures long life and reliable performance. Industry standard package sizes allow for a maximum output current of 600 amps for standard diodes and 1200 amps for fast recovery versions. Blocking voltages are available as high as 4400 volts for standard diodes and 2600 volts for fast recovery modules.

EasyPIM Series Image
The EasyPIM and EconoPIM modules series were developed in order to have a more cost effective compact design as well as a simplified and reliable mounting. Both product series are available with the well known solder or the new state of the art PressFIT connections. The PressFIT process can be separated from soldering and allows module mounting on soldering and component side of PCB. This increases the design flexibility. The high reliability of PressFIT contacts in general promises to increase the system reliability. This is especially of interest, if modules are operating in harsh environments. This way, it is an optimized product generation for low and medium power industrial drives.

Infineon offers a broad range of press pack disc housings containing diode pellets in a voltage range of 200 V to 9500 V and a current range of 56 A to 8400 A. All discs are assembled in highly reliable, robust and hermetically sealed ceramic housings in order to avoid mechanical damage as well as most negative environmental influences such as high humidity.
