What is an injection press?
Sometimes referred to as an injection molding machine, these presses are used to manufacture items that are made out of common plastics. These machines can be oriented both horizontally and vertically. The two main components used are the injecting unit and the clamping unit that is used to shape the injected plastic. The clamps are designed in the desired shape to create the product wanted.
Types of Injection Presses
Hydraulic Injection Press: These are the most common injection presses in the world. They use hydraulic technology to operate the force of the clamps.
Mechanical Injection Press: These presses are operated more manually by the user than automatically like other machines.
Electrical Injection Press: Electrical injection presses are more precise, quieter, and more effective but have a higher cost. They use electrical components to operate the machinery.
