Fans and blowers create airflow to reduce ambient temperature. They are designed primarily for systems that product a significant amount of heat like certain electronic components and machinery.

Cooling fans come in different makes and models, each engineered specifically for the applications and systems they support. Axial fans are ideal cooling solutions for spot cooling and ventilation applications in areas where space is limited. Axial fans have a lot of versatility and thus are the most common type of fan.

Blowers are designed to work with systems that have high back pressure and require a more concentrated airflow. Airflow with blowers is typically more consistent, and the higher pressure serves well in HVAC and filtration systems.

Mounting position horizontal or vertical with motor at the bottom.
Permissible ambient temperature 0 to 60 degrees C.
M4Q Series Image
4-pole QUAD design, shaded-pole motor with self-aligning, permanently lubricated sintec bearings; thermally and impedance protected.
Square outer dimensions, 83x83mm is considered to be general standard.
Versatile air movers with choice of impeller sizes blade pitches and accessories.
Choice of air flow and air direction. From 113 to 1082 CFM. Exhaust over motoror inlet over motor.
Counterclockwise rotation when looking at shaft. This ensures that the screws remain tight and in place.
  • 12~48 VDC
  • Up to 1689 CFM
  • Ball Bearings
  • Plastic or Metal Impeller
  • UL, CSA, VDE Approvals
DC axial fans have least power consumption blowing at free air. As the back pressure increases, the power consumption increases. The combination of impeller and external rotor motor provides an optimal aerodynamic solution.
  • 115 VAC or 230 VAC
  • Up to 3735 CFM
  • Ball Bearings
  • Metal Construction
  • UL, CSA, VDE Approvals
EBM offers a wide range of AC axial fans to optimally fit any application.
