Fans and blowers create airflow to reduce ambient temperature. They are designed primarily for systems that product a significant amount of heat like certain electronic components and machinery.

Cooling fans come in different makes and models, each engineered specifically for the applications and systems they support. Axial fans are ideal cooling solutions for spot cooling and ventilation applications in areas where space is limited. Axial fans have a lot of versatility and thus are the most common type of fan.

Blowers are designed to work with systems that have high back pressure and require a more concentrated airflow. Airflow with blowers is typically more consistent, and the higher pressure serves well in HVAC and filtration systems.

DC axial fans have least power consumption blowing at free air. As the back pressure increases, the power consumption increases. The combination of impeller and external rotor motor provides an optimal aerodynamic solution.
