Model 350 Vibratone horns produce a very loud horn tone by the electro-mechanical vibration of a diaphragm. Capable of reproducing coded blasts or sustained tones, Federal Signal Model 350 Vibratone horns are excellent for general alarm, start and dismissal, coded paging, and process control signaling in area of high ambient noise levels.
Vibratone mounting options provide for surface, flush or semi-flush mounting on walls, panels, in cabinets, on 4-inch square outlet boxes, or in concrete and deep wall constructions.
Each Vibratone horn is enclosed in a zinc die-cast housing and sealed with gray powder-coat paint. The Model 350 Vibratone features a stainless steel diaphragm. The rugged construction resists vandalism and the effects of harsh industrial environments.
Compact size, loud output and heavy-duty construction make the Model 350 Vibratone horns ideal for industrial and institutional signaling applications.

The Edwards 874 Series are low current, high decibel surface mount vibrating horns for heavy duty use. Supplied complete with Adaptaplate for easy installation.
Supplied Adataplate allows quick plug in connection. Horn simply plugs into receptacle on mounting plate. Also mounts on any single gang, 3 1/4" (83mm), 3 1/2" (89mm), 4" (102mm) octagon, or 4" (102mm) square box.
Used in industrial, commercial, and institutional applications for timing, paging, and alarm signaling. Applications include equipment malfunction alert and security warning.

The Edwards 876 Series are low current, high decibel, vibrating horns for heavy duty use and is UL listed to NEMA 4X enclosure requirements. The die cast weatherproof box has a durable, corrosion resistant, electrostatic heat flowed powder epoxy gray finish. May be used for indoor applications.
Mount on conduit or to any flat surface. A hole on the top has been drilled and tapped for 3/4" (19mm) - 14 NPT conduit. Knockouts are located on the bottom and rear of the unit.
Used where a distinctive, urgent signal is required for outdoor or weatherproof requirements such as: timing, scheduling, paging, general alarm, personnel warning, and emergency evacuations.

The Model 350WB Vibraton horn produces sound by the electro-mechanical vibration of a stainless steel diaphragm. The horn mechanism with diaphragm is attached to the grille. Indoor or outdoor use is made possible by the water and dust tight backbox.
Model 350WB Vibratone features die-cast aluminum rear housing sealed with a gray enamel finish. The rugged outer housing resists vandalism without reducing sound output. Model 350WB Vibratone is fused and utilizes a terminal block connection.

Model 450E electronic horn offers a patent pending electronics design that produces a very loud, clear and distinctive electronic tone. This model is capable of producing sustained tones or coded blasts through push button or PLC control devices without duty cycle or interval limitations. The 450E is ideal for general alarm, start and dismissal, coded paging, and process control signaling in areas of high ambient noise levels. Additionally, the 4-wire terminal block and supervisory diode design also makes this unit ideal for Fire Alarm Applications.
The horn's non-metallic, polycarbonate light grey housing and polymeric speaker cone material are corrosion resistant and weatherproof for improved durability in harsh industrial environments. Surface or flush mounting options allow for installation on walls, panels, 4-inch square outlet boxes, cabinets, or deep concrete wall constructions. A Double Projector accessory mounted on the front of the unit directs side sound output, optimizing signaling for long, narrow rooms or corridors.

Federal Signal Model 55 is electric horns that produce sound by means of a diaphragm, which resonates a column of air. Because the output is greater than that of a vibrating horn resonating horns can be used wherever a louder, more powerful signal is required.
Model 55 horns feature corrosion resistant cast aluminum housings with a brass projector. These projectors are designed to match the frequency of the vibrating diaphragm to produce a smooth musical tone. The housings are tapped for 1/2" conduit (swivel bracket included).
Model 55 is finished in gray enamel and equipped with a straight projector. These weatherproof horns are water and dust tight when installed with conduit.
Model 55 is ideal for both indoor and outdoor use. They require minimum maintenance; their rugged designs seal out corrosive dust and vapors.
