The Pilz PNOZsigma Series of safety relays combine many years of experience with the latest and greatest
safety technology available. Maximum security and cost-effectiveness can be achieved with minimum effort.
Diagnostics are quick and easy with 6 LED indicators for displaying switch and at fault conditions, eliminating
the need for external measuring devices in most cases.
The Pilz PNOZsigma series of safety relays heavily focus on multifunctionality in each unit. A smaller variety of units need to be stocked to cover a wide variety of functions, allowing for simpler logistics. Housing widths start as low as 12.5 mm, which is as much as 50% smaller than other standard safety relays on the market. Narrower widths save space in the control cabinet, and in doing so can also potentially reduce costs.
Push-In" Technology
The PNOZsigma Series of safety relays feature "push-in" technology, offering a great advantage in terms of both safety and economy. With Push-In, all standard cables can be connected whether they use crimp connectors or not. Wiring is simple and quick, and only the required terminal point needs to open when modifying the wiring. Pilz plug-in terminals also have a separate opening for testing the voltage for complete security. Coded connectors guarantee foolproof installation, better handling security when servicing and therefore reduce downtimes and lower costs. The terminals are maintenance due to their predefined clamping force. Unlike screw terminals, these spring loaded terminals do not require regular re-tightening, eliminating subsequent re-tightening costs. Push-in technology also allows for easier looping of cable.
