STM Series Information

Due to their small design, STM Series safety switches with plastic housing are particularly suited for applications where robustness is required in combination with small dimensions. These switches have positive opening contacts (in accordance to NFPA 79) and redundancy to guarantee that they fail to a safe state.

Along with the variants with plastic actuating head, the STM series is also available with a metal actuating head and cam. This variant is particularly suitable for applications that required high locking forces (up to 2000 N).
