Series STPTWIN safety switches feature an actuating head and an internal cam made of metal. As a result, the switch can be used for applications which require high locking forces (up to 2,500 N). EUCHNER supplies the STP with various contact combinations (positively driven NC contacts / NO contacts). STPTWIN Series safety switches are designed to protect double‑leaf sliding or hinged doors using only one safety switch.

Dual‑channel wiring to achieve the maximum possible safety level is possible with all variants. Because they can switch currents as low as 1 milliamp, STP series safety switches are suitable for use on safe controllers.
