Thermowell Series Information
The ACI Thermowell Series comes in various lengths and materials. The standard material is 304 stainless steel which ensures long lasting reliability and stability. The entire series is milled to high tolerances, so there is a negligible gap between the thermowell sheath and the probe. This provides maximum heat transfer when used with a corresponding ACI sensor. For fabricated (welded) thermowells, the sheath is set into the nut and then automated TIG welded from its own material to provide the strongest possible joint. For machined wells, the wells are machined from solid bar stock using advanced CNC machinery.
