The Low‑Peak Dual Delay RK1 fuse is designed to provide the long time‑delay for temporary motor start up and the transient surges associated with such components as transformers, but also the very fast speed‑of‑response (current limitation) for maximum short‑circuit protection. Time delay fuses eliminate openings due to temporary overloads and transient surges. Permits close sizing of fuses to normal full‑load current ratings of motors.
