Nelson's NC Series heating cables provide constant‑wattage freeze protection or temperature maintenance up to 300 degrees Fahrenheit. Depending on the selected product and service voltage (120 VAC to 277 VAC), NC cables can achieve power densities from 1.5 to 12 watts per foot to meet a wide range of application needs. NC cables are suitable for facilities that use super‑heated steam to flush and clean pipes since they can withstand exposure to temperatures up to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. A metal braid with fluoropolymer overjacket resists moisture, corrosion and solvents, and an optional overjacket is available for maximum resistance to impact, wear and corrosion.
