The PMB series is American Control Electronics's choice for a 4Q PWM series. PMB Series drives can control motors rated for 90, 130, 180, or 240 VDC range with either a 115 or 230 VAC line input, up to 7 amps or 1.5 HP. With the use of on‑board trim pots, you can quickly set the forward and reverse maximum and minimum speeds, acceleration and deceleration rates, motoring and regening current limits, and IR compensation. Each drive is designed with built‑in isolation so it can be commanded with a wide range of analog inputs. The drive even provides logic for dumping current to a braking resistor when it's reached it maximum regenerative capacity. The microprocessor based design means it can be modified to fit OEM specific applications.
