FL Series Information

FL series safety isolating transformers are low profile isolation components designed to provide safe electrical isolation in low voltage applications.
The FL supports electrical isolation on both the input and output sides of three primary applications:
  • as a mains transformer, for voltage adjustments and simple circuit isolation
  • as an isolating transformer, to set up protective separation as a safety measure
  • and as a safety isolating transformer to create SELV and PELV circuits by limiting output voltage
Other advantages provided by the FL series include a minimum size at high output, a low height to save space in panels and enclosures, dual input and output voltage for series or parallel connections, and permanent corrosion protection.
The FL 8/12 model is rated for 2 x 12 VAC output at 76% efficiency.
